Illinois DOI Issued Bulletin 2017-03 Regarding the Governor’s Declaration of Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry Counties as State Disaster Areas

In response to the Illinois Department of Insurance Bulletin 2017-03 regarding the Governor’s declaration of Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties as state disaster areas, MedPro Group is making accommodations for policyholders in those counties. 

Specifically, affected policyholders will be given extended time periods to suspend cancellations and non-renewals, and otherwise comply with policy time limits, such as those conditioning the submission of a claim or proof of loss, reporting of information, submission of bills, or payment of funds. Please note, any accommodations provided are not waivers; they are extensions of otherwise applicable deadlines.
